Why have we incorporate Flash dynamic and visually appealing content on several of our projects? Flash is one of the best multimedia formats on the internet today for several reasons. Firstly, the Flash plugin (required to view the animations) is installed on nearly every computer connected to the internet. All the major browsers come with it installed by default and for those who don't have it, the download is very small.
Secondly, Flash is a 'vector based' program, which means the animations and graphics created by it have much smaller file sizes than a video or streaming media version of the same animation would be. You can also include sound, graphics and dynamically created information in your animation. The features we have incorporated into our client's sites include:
This material properties chart was created as part of a series to illustrate the advantageous properties of carbon fibre composite materials for the Composites Engineering web site, the charts are at the foot of this page.
In a matter of seconds they convey to the viewer the superior properties these materials offer over more traditional solutions.
This banner was created for the Donnatella Lingerie website to lead the viewer to the Online Store and the result can be seen here. It operates as a subliminal message while the viewer reads the content of the Home page and arouses their curiosity.
These are just two examples to illustrate the potential Flash has to offer when incorporated effectively within a web site. Dynamic content can provide your site with appealing content to both educate the viewer and draw them to that request for your services or online sale.
"You have done a fantastic job, on time and on budget. I look forward to you helping us with future projects and can highly recommend your services".
